NexGen Orbit Labs support
App support and legal questions
Support here is plain email — no ticket system and no form to fill. Pick the address for your app below, and the answer comes back in the same thread.
Who to write to
Each app has its own address, and it covers only that app. If your question is not about a specific app, use the studio address at the end of the list.
Crystal Notes
Notes, export, backups
BrainTox
Spending, income, export
Carton Collect
Game bugs
Everything else
Terms and privacy, collaborations, not sure where to start
What to put in a bug report
Four things that turn a question into a one-email answer instead of a three-email thread.
App version
The number is on the Google Play listing or in the app settings. Without it there is no way to tell whether a newer release already fixed the problem.
Device and OS
Phone model and Android version. Storage, notification and background-sync problems are almost always tied to the OS build.
Steps to reproduce
Three steps after which it happens again. A description like "it does not work" costs a round of follow-up questions; steps do not.
Screenshot or file
The error screen or an exported file. If it is about export, attach the file: it can be checked locally, with no access to your notes.
What happens to your message
Three things worth knowing before you write.
It is a plain email to a small studio
You write straight to the studio mailbox: no support desk, no tickets, no queues. A person reads that mailbox and answers.
After that it is ordinary email
We reply in the same thread, and you can add what you forgot by answering. If you have a screenshot, attach the file instead of describing it.
Your data stays on the device
The apps work offline and keep your notes and spending on the phone. Nobody here can open them, and a lost phone means lost data unless you exported a backup. If something went wrong with your data, say what you exported and when.
Data and privacy
The apps keep your data on the device, and the privacy policy explains what that means. Both documents have their own pages, and reading them does not require writing to anyone.
